In a moment of spontanity and the situation lending an opening, the very first Portuguese translated book The Ringing Cedars has been handed over to Madalena Tavares.
She is candidate for the local seat of Mayor in our local county (Camara) with elections coming this Sunday 1 October 2017. She is part of the Partido Socialista.
Seen in the spontanity of the moment there was no champange, caviar, confeties or pictures...
But the move is made!
She is a very open woman and in a previous talk, she listened to our concerns about the local corporate dubious operations!!
So lets keep thumbs up and keep going!!

Este é o primeiro livro da série “Os Cedros Ressoantes da Rússia”, que está a entusiasmar milhões de leitores de todo o mundo, pois as pessoas vêem as suas necessidades e as suas dificuldades aqui retratadas, permitindo-lhes a leitura desta obra um “glimpse” do que poderá ser a vida.... se for de outra maneira…
E embora percebamos desde logo no estilo de escrita a qualidade de “não escritor” do seu autor, este pode-se tornar um livro marcante nas nossas vidas, como aconteceu desde logo com a editora Joanne Gribler.
Como fundadora em Portugal do Yoga do Riso, elemento da Operação Narizes Vermelhos (palhaços nos hospitais) e mentora de tanta boa disposição neste país, pouco percebia de editoras, até que leu estes livros em inglês e, dado viver em Portugal há bastantes anos, decidiu que tinha que trazer esta colecção para Portugal. Tentou primeiro algumas editoras, até que resolveu criar a sua própria, que edita agora esta colecção. Porque teve que ser. Porque sim.
Mas quem é, afinal, Anastasia? É uma mulher, uma simples mulher... que vive na simplicidade da taiga siberiana, nos confins da Natureza profunda, em contacto directo com a informação de que necessita, e cujos conhecimentos cobrem desde a área da maternidade, história, sexualidade, agricultura, religião, ciência, e muito mais…
Aliás, quando escrevo estas linhas, uma das notícias de 1ª página de alguns jornais de hoje tem a ver com um tema muito caro a Anastasia: o voltar ao contacto com a terra, nos pequenos terrenos onde cada um semeia, planta, rega, e acarinha as plantas, flores, para que também elas, parte da Natureza, nos devolvam essa boa energia.
Quanto a mim, também já trouxe muito boas mudanças à minha vida…

Incidentally, when I write these lines, one of the first page news of some newspapers today has to do with a very expensive subject for Anastasia: To return to contact with the earth, in the small grounds where each one sows, plants, water, and caress the plants, flowers, so that they too, part of nature, give us back this good energy.
